We very much enjoyed Maryland Million Day at Laurel Race Track. Everything was in good order and staff was friendly and helpful. Could use more modern food choices, however. Full review by Potomac_11

Really enjoyable day out socialising with friends on our visit from England. Food is ok, drinks are fine, service from Edwin was very good. All round….a lovely day out Full review by siralex1

Laurel street racing is better, and bigger pay off. Occurs nightly on route 198 after 10pm, just look for the line of street racers, including Hellcats. No horses are hurt or abused. Full review by genew545
This is a re-review from vock who would like to upgrade my original opinion, sent to staff and all readers of my original comments. Have been in contact with staff and wish to state that all of my original concerns have been addressed with the exception of one. (made about the "museum-like" décor as opposed to the, more appropriate racing motif.) Instead of the terra cotta statuary, non-descript horses, and gargoyles, racing silks, jockey/trainer/horsemen equipment should be displayed, instead,. For this, and only this, I will upgrade from a 2 to a 4 STAR rating. Looking forward to my next visit to see if any of this has changed, at which time I hope to be able to report that the track will have met all of my 5 star requirements.

During LP's Summer meet they close the general admission section to adults only and on Friday's their last race on the card has only female jockeys with the braver ones wearing just bikinis to reduce weight. Occassionally you'll see their boobs bounce out when they're coming down the stretch...keep in mind their hands have to stay on the reins so recovering a revealed breast is highly unlikely. Bet on bikinis for the low weight!
