Baird Center is one of the world’s most architecturally exhilarating and technologically robust convention facilities, located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Opened in 1998, Baird Center is one of the few convention centers we know of that people visit just to admire, but don’t let that fool you; it’s a hard-working facility in a hard-working city. Baird Center is designed for both sensory delight and astonishing efficiency and operated with strict attention to customer service. It’s home to part of the Burke Family Collection of commissioned and integrated art, and some of the most advanced and IT infrastructure anywhere. With equal ease, it handles the gritty realities of tradeshow setup and offers exquisite elegance for formal banquets. Currently, Baird Center has 188,695 square feet of contiguous, state-of-the-art exhibit space and a 37,506 square-foot ballroom with capacity for 3,150 diners and ample utilities for corporate theater.
