Tesla investors seem willing to trade a delay in the company’s robotaxi pilot program for the hope that Elon Musk is working his way back into the Trump administration’s good graces.

Bloomberg reported that the launch would be July 12th. But Tesla never confirmed it, and now Musk is saying the long-awaited robotaxi service will “tentatively” kick off in Austin, Texas, on June 22nd.

Texans will have to wait a little while longer for Elon Musk's inaugural fleet of Tesla robotaxis to hit the Lone Star State.
