Frederik Andersen remains day-to-day after leaving Game 4 of the Carolina Hurricanes‘ first-round series against the New Jersey Devils, head coach Rod Brind’Amour told The Athletic’s Cory Lavalette.

Andersen suffered an injury as Devils forward Timo Meier crashed into the netminder midway through the game, frustrating Canes head coach Rod Brind'Amour. Andersen exited the game after colliding with Meier following an upper-body hit by the forward, which sent him sprawling backward into the net.
