At least 70 people are dead and many more missing in Texas in the wake of torrential rains and resulting flooding.By far the greatest number of fatalities occurred in Kerr County, where 59 people are believed to be dead,

Gov. Greg Abbott said there are at least 68 people dead in Kerr County, including 40 adults and 28 kids, after flooding hit central Texas. Ten children from Camp Mystic and one counselor are still unaccounted for.

At least 67 people are dead following flooding that slammed central Texas over the weekend, while a desperate search for 11 missing girls continues.
