Republican Congressman Chuck Fleischmann explains why he voted in favor of Trump’s so-called “big beautiful bill” and tells CNN’s Wolf Blitzer if he’s concerned about the bill’s impact on next year’s midterm elections.

President Trump is scheduled to sign the bill into law at 4 p.m. on July 4 at the White House, locking in tax reductions and Medicaid cuts.

The 218-214 vote Thursday sends the measure to Trump’s desk, ahead of the July 4 target he set for Congress to finish the legislation that cuts taxes, boosts border security and lowers social safety-net spending.
