Jon Jones isn't ruling out the possibility of a Francis Ngannou return to the UFC. Ngannou's departure from the UFC was far from amicable. He signed with PFL after failing to come to terms on a new deal with the UFC,

The UFC heavyweight title scene remains in limbo, and the suspense is starting to wear thin. Jon Jones, arguably the most dominant force in MMA history, still hasn’t given the green light on a showdown with interim champ Tom Aspinall.

Jones has repeatedly denounced Aspinall as a worthy challenger, instead proposing fights with more notable opponents including light heavyweight Alex Pereira and Francis Ngannou, the latter of whom isn't under UFC contract. A fan petition demanding that Jones be stripped has received nearly 200,000 signatures .
