Belva Day, who was reported missing in early February, was found dead near the Little Rock Air Force Base, according to officials.

Mountain Home police said the car of a 95-year-old woman, who has been missing for nearly a month, was found Tuesday.

Little Rock Air Force Base authorities in Jacksonville found Belva Day’s crashed car in a remote area of the base on Tuesday. They later discovered her body inside the vehicle. The base is about a three-hour drive south of Mountain Home. Day, 95, disappeared on February 7 from the Mountain Home area. Authorities issued a SILVER Alert a day later.
