Event details
Culpeper man Joseph Checklick Jr. has been arrested after police say he drove through a "No Kings Day" protest Saturday and struck at least one person.
“Boycott Walmart!” wrote longtime Trump supporter Roger Stone, who added: “The Walmart Heiress subsidizes insurrection. Next up peaceful protest outside all of their stores to encourage people not to shop there. Essentially what left-wing stooges did to Tesla. Let’s go.”
Protesters held signs that read, “No kings since 1776,” “Bad Things Happen When Good People Do Nothing,” “Stop the Parade Fund Medicaid,” “When cruelty becomes normal compassion looks radical” and “Make Orwell Fiction Again.”
The backlash comes after Walmart heiress Christy Walton reportedly paid for a 'No Kings,' ad, which has been perceived as being anti-Trump.
When the market is uncertain, it's the safe, established stocks that can tide your portfolio over. Investors have been pouring into Walmart stock, and it's crushed many growth stocks and the market itself over the past year as it's gained 47%.
