For the 49ers, Ricky Pearsall remained a non-participant, missing practice once again. Brock Purdy was limited for the second straight day and is uncertain to play against the Rams, while Dee Winters was downgraded from limited to DNP.

The San Francisco 49ers have heavily relied on young defenders so far this year, and cornerback Upton Stout has been one of the best.
