In order to slow down Nix and the Broncos' offense, the Bills' defense needs to focus on making him a single-threat quarterback. Buffalo will need to contain the edge and keep a spy on Nix throughout a good portion of the game. Keeping him in the pocket while putting pressure on him could result in some rookie mistakes.

That 2023 Broncos team had gotten off to a 1-5 start in Payton’s debut season, but it won seven of its final 11 games and while the 8-9 record left Denver on the outside of the playoff bubble, it was a solid building block for 2024 and the Broncos went 10-7 this season.
