The Dallas Wings are working on a deal to acquire guard DiJonai Carrington and the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft from the Connecticut

Carrington, 27, was a restricted free agent and the Sun had the ability to match any offer sheet with another team

As part of the trade, the Wings will receive Ty Harris (who played for the Connecticut Sun last season but was acquired by the Phoenix Mercury in the Alyssa Thomas trade). They’ll also land Mercury forward Kiki Herbert Harrigan and Indiana forward Fever NaLyssa Smith.
