The all-new, entry-level Kia EV3 can be ordered in its home country of South Korea with a long-range battery that has a capacity of 81.4 kilowatt-hours, enabling a WLTP-estimated range of 347 miles.
Kia’s new low-cost electric SUV has already secured over 10,000 reservations in its home market. Kia sees the EV3 as a potential “game changer” with climbing demand for affordable electric options.
After topping Hyundai in European sales last year, Kia expects a “bumpy trajectory of EV sales” in Europe. A part of this is due to its new EV3, launched in Korea last month for just over $30,000.
