The 57-year-old victim was found in the Western New York home after it was fully engulfed in flames early Monday morning.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, a 57-year-old man could not escape after helping others make it out.
The Northeastern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross said the fire broke out at a home on Barcomb Road on Monday afternoon.
