Alaska Airlines says it is grounding its planes because of an information technology outage. The company said in a social media post on X Thursday that it is imposing a “temporary ground stop.”

The ground stop also applies to Alaska Airlines' subsidiaries Horizon Air and SkyWest Airlines, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
