A player won $1,000 for life after buying a lottery ticket, Georgia officials said. A Jonesboro resident bought a Cash4Life ticket through the Georgia Lottery mobile app and matched all five winning numbers – 4, 32, 44, 47, and 54 - in the Oct. 22 drawing, according to an Oct. 26 news release by the Georgia Lottery.
A Jonesboro resident has won $1,000 a week for life after purchasing a winning ticket in the Oct. 22 Cash4Life drawing through the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
Nearly 625,000 Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $100,000, the lottery said.

A Macon resident gets $1 million from winning lottery ticket. Where was it purchased?
A Macon resident made it rain over the weekend, scratching off a winning ticket for $1 million, according to a news release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation. The ticket, which was for the $1 million Triple Match scratcher from the Georgia Lottery, was purchased at a Kroger off North Avenue in east Macon.
