A private Volvo bus began its journey to Bengaluru from Hyderabad around midnight. At around 3:30 am, when the bus reached near Kurnool on National Highway 44 (NH-44), it met with an accident with a two-wheeler.

Authorities in northern India say a suspected short circuit sparked a fire on a passenger bus and rapidly engulfed the vehicle in flames, burning at least 20 people to death.

Kathmandu: Amid ongoing protests in Nepal, miscreants attacked a bus of Indian pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh near Kathmandu on Thursday. Several people were reportedly injured in the attack. The miscreants also looted the belongings of several people.

Twenty people have died after a luxury bus caught fire and turned into ashes after it hit a two-wheeler in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool in the early hours of Friday. The bus travelling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru had 43 people on board.
