Changes are coming to the annual New Year's Day Minnesota Millionaire Raffle, including a new prize tier. The Minnesota Lottery announced Monday that tickets for this year's millionaire raffle go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 21, with a new $20,000 prize tier added to mark the game's 20th anniversary.

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — It's the 20th year of the Minnesota Millionaire Raffle, and the state lottery announced there are a few changes for the New Year's Day game. Minnesota Lottery said that starting on Tuesday, 1 million tickets will go on sale throughout the state. The tickets, which cost $10, routinely sell out.
