MADISON, Wis. — A person died after being shot early Sunday on Madison's south side, according to police.
Officers with the Madison Police Department responded to the 400 block of Primrose Lane at around 3:30 a.m., according to an incident report. They found a man in the road suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers tried to save the man's life, but he died at the scene. Police said the victim was in his 30s.
