EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The NCAA issued a statement on eligibility in the wake of Tom Izzo’s comments on players with G-League experience being allowed to sign for college teams. In part, Izzo called the situation “ridiculous” and “embarrassing.”

The Division I Administrative Committee will "maintain existing eligibility rules" of four years of competition over a five-year period.
