The Panthers proved against the Packers that they can be a playoff team – and Rico Dowdle has three games with 100 or more rushing yards in the last five weeks. The Saints allow 129.4 rushing yards per game, too. Carolina is 3-1 S/U at home this season.
The Rams’ offense is currently led by third-year coordinator Mike LaFleur, while the Packers’ Adam Stenavich has held that role for the past four seasons. Still, both teams’ play-callers are their respective head coaches — Sean McVay in Los Angeles and Matt LaFleur in Green Bay.
This could be the time for the Packers to strike while the iron is hot. Quarterback Jordan Love has been playing mostly excellent football, and so has running back Josh Jacobs. Parsons has accumulated 6.5 sacks so far this season, and defensive lineman Rashan Gary is leading the team with 7.5 sacks.
The other biggest favorites of the week are the Bills -8.5 at the Miami Dolphins, the Seattle Seahawks -7 vs. the Arizona Cardinals and the Lions -7.5 at the Washington Commanders. Two of those are divisional matchups: Could they be trap games for the Lions and Seahawks?
Starting in his first game since Sept. 14, Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy tossed 143 yards and two touchdowns, while running for another. Lions quarterback Jared Goff had 284 passing yards and two scores.
