Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof are both now facing at least a month on the sidelines after fresh setbacks, joining fellow centre-backs Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans in the treatment room.

Martinez’s return is a welcome boost to a depleted backline, with left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia out along with centre-backs Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane.
