Brandi Chastain, Leslie Osborne, Danielle Slaton, and Aly Wagner—some of the most revered names in the beautiful game—continue to play a significant role in its growth. Post-retirement, they have all contributed to women’s soccer by joining the investor group of Bay FC.

Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty are heading into the 2025 WNBA season looking to defend their title. Last season, the Liberty were crowned WNBA champions after defeating the Minnesota Lynx in the final series.

Ionescu has experience with brand collaborations, becoming the first women’s basketball player to release a unisex signature collection with Nike. She now hopes to expand that relationship to provide cleats for Bay FC and other NWSL teams, similar to deals she helped facilitate for NFL and MLB athletes.
