Los Angeles FC kept Lionel Messi off the scoresheet in a 1-0 victory over Inter Miami in the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal matchup.

The Athletic reported that Messi and his bodyguard “are quite upset” over the move, citing a source within the team’s locker room. The source added that Cheuko “has always been really critical of all of the other security and suggested that if they were good at their jobs, he wouldn’t even be needed.”
