TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Police have identified the man they believe entered a Walmart and stabbed 11 people at random. Bradford James Gille, 42, is in custody and awaiting arraignment on numerous charges in connection with the mass stabbing, police said at a press conference Sunday, July 27.

Multiple people were stabbed at a Walmart in Traverse City, and a suspect is in custody, authorities said Saturday.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said she has been in contact with law enforcement about the “horrible news” and commended first responders for their swift action.
