A song often referred to as the Black national anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," will be performed by local artist Ledisi at Sunday's Super Bowl in New Orleans, the fifth year it has featured in the National Football League championship game.

Trump is reportedly slated to attend, and if he does, he will get to hear the playing of “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” prior to kick. Grammy Award-winning artist, Ledisi, is slated to sing the song, which is often called the Black National Anthem.

The NFL has asked several local New Orleans artists to sing ahead of the big game. Ledisi will sing the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” while Lauren Daigle will perform “America the Beautiful” during the pre-game show.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in Super Bowl LIX Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET. -- a rematch of Super Bowl LVII -- but before the action begins, there will be some pre-game performances to kick off the biggest night in football.
