Waitrose has reintroduced its free coffee for all loyalty scheme, regardless of whether they've made a purchase or not.

First introduced in 2013, Waitrose’s free coffee loyalty scheme has long been a fan favourite. And now, it’s going back to its roots, offering shoppers a daily, complimentary cup of Joe – even if they don’t purchase an item in store.

The company has told those signed up to its myWaitrose scheme that from 27 January they can get one complementary hot drink a day with no purchase needed - provided they bring a reusable cup.

To claim your freebie, you must go to a Waitrose-branded self-serve coffee machine - not the Waitrose cafés. To grab your drink just scan your physical My Waitrose card, or the barcode on your digital card, at the coffee machine and select your drink. The deal includes dairy alternatives, such as oat milk.

Currently, the upmarket grocer requires myWaitrose members to buy something before they can claim their free drink.
