There will be no return trip for John Calipari and Arkansas to Rupp Arena in 2026. CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reported Tuesday that Kentucky and Arkansas will only play once during SEC play in the 2025-26 season.

The Wildcats hosted the Razorbacks on February 1st last season, Calipari’s first game back in Lexington since leaving for Arkansas in April 2024. Arkansas beat Kentucky 89-79 that night, sparking an impressive turnaround for the Razorbacks toward an eventual Sweet 16 appearance.

One of the most anticipated games in the country last season was Arkansas and Kentucky, when John Calipari returned to Rupp Arena for the first time since leaving Lexington. Mark Pope and Calipari will meet again next season,
