SALT LAKE CITY -- Jesper Boqvist scored twice for the Florida Panthers in a 4-1 win against the Utah Hockey Club at Delta Center on Wednesday. “Really complete effort there to close up the road trip, we played a full [60 minutes],” Boqvist said. “They had a lot of [power-play] chances, but we stuck with it, stayed with it, and got two points here."
Florida ranks ninth in the NHL with 3.24 goals per game this season, but the team is 2-4-0 in its last six games. The 28-year-old Vejmelka has a 1-4-0 record, 3.91 GAA and .904 save percentage across five career games against the Panthers.
