Detroit police say they have been investigating the incident between Steelers WR DK Metcalf and Michigan resident Ryan Kennedy at Ford Field.

Lions fan Ryan Kennedy has filed a defamation lawsuit in Wayne County Circuit Court against Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf, NFL legend Chad Ochocinco Johnson, and several media companies.

Lions fan Ryan Kennedy, who has filed a $100 million lawsuit against multiple parties including Ford Field, has released a statement.

After filing a lawsuit seeking an excess of $100 million in damages in Wayne County Circuit Court following a sideline altercation with Pittsburgh Steelers receiver DK Metcalf, representation for Detroit Lions fan Ryan Kennedy said they likely would not have reached this point had statements that Kennedy used the “N-word” or “C-word” been retracted by parties who propagated the alleged falsities.
