Ryan Gosling may end up being the biggest A-lister to star in a Star Wars movie to date, if a new report pans out.

Gosling's casting is coming “late-in-the-game,” according to THR's report. Levy is currently busy with other projects, such as his boy band project starring Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Bringing in a surprising turn to the upcoming project, Ryan Gosling is reportedly in talks to star in a standalone Star Wars movie which is helmed by none other than Dhawn Levy who is known for his last blockbuster work on Deadpool & Wolverine and The Adam Project.

If the deal makes, this would send the project into hyper-drive after two years of development, and make it the next Star Wars movie to go into production.
