By dinnertime in Milan, the news was official: Luke and Lucie Meier had presented their final collection for Jil Sander. A press release called the split mutual.
Key trends included fur, faux or real; statement outerwear; fringe; lots of texture, and sharp tailoring, with high heels making a comeback.
The designer, who spent less than two years at the helm of Bally, will replace Luke and Lucie Meier at the OTB-owned brand.
