CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – ESPN’s Shams Charania is reporting that New Orleans Pelicans forward Javonte Green has agreed to a contract buyout and intends to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers upon clearing waivers. Green added additional depth at the wing position for Cleveland, which also added De’Andre Hunter prior to the NBA trade deadline.
The Pelicans are converting Brandon Boston Jr.‘s two-way deal into a standard two-year contract, ESPN’s Shams Charania tweets. They are filling the two-way slot by promoting Jalen Crutcher, Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype tweets.
