Graves was previously in the booth for WWE SmackDown, but when WWE Raw moved to Netflix, Graves moved to NXT for NXT New Year's Evil. It was not clear if the move was permanent. Michael Cole and Pat McAfee called WWE Raw while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett called WWE SmackDown.

Corey Graves has been absent from WWE since he shared his frustrations on social media about being moved from RAW to the NXT broadcast team.
Unless an earlier report that says the announcer won’t be back is correct. Either way, all eyes are on the Jan. 21 episode, one week after Graves was allegedly pulled because of social media posts expressing his unhappiness at being assigned to NXT rather than Raw.
