Dylan Larkin scored two goals and the surging Detroit Red Wings beat the Florida Panthers 5-2. Larkin, Jonatan Berggren and Patrick Kane had power-play goals for Detroit, which also got a goal from Marco Kasper.
As they arrive in California, they'll look to sweep the Anaheim Ducks after the Panthers scored a 3-0 win Saturday night at Amerant Bank Arena. Then it's on to Los Angeles, San Jose and Las Vegas completing the four-game road trip.
Lundell started the play by stealing the puck from Alex Killorn in the neutral zone. Lundell skated in, then his shot deflected in off the stick of Brian Dumoulin. The puck trickled in after Gibson had made a partial stop.
Panthers goaltender Spencer Knight is 4-1 with 133 saves on 142 shots (.937 save percentage) with a 1.61 goals-against since Dec. 22.
The Florida Panthers are currently fighting for the top spot in the Atlantic Division. They sit second in the division, trailing the Toronto Maple Leafs by three points with a record of 26-17-3.
