Sam Reinhart snapped a three-game goal drought and the Florida Panthers beat the Anaheim Ducks 5-2 on Tuesday night. Carter Verhaeghe had a goal and assist for the Panthers, who picked up a point in their 10th straight game against the Ducks.

Verhaeghe stole the puck from Anaheim defenseman Jacob Trouba behind the Ducks' goal before putting it into the upper right corner of the net to extend the Panthers' lead to 3-1 with 1:11 remaining in the first period. Florida has scored three times in the first period four times this season which trails only Tampa Bay and Ottawa (both five).

Defenseman Uvis Balinskis made it 5-2 Panthers at the 4:15 mark after showing off some nice skating and stickhandling skills at the Ducks blue line. That would be all Bobrovsky and the Cats would need to earn their second win over Anaheim in as many games.

Lundell started the play by stealing the puck from Alex Killorn in the neutral zone. Lundell skated in, then his shot deflected in off the stick of Brian Dumoulin. The puck trickled in after Gibson had made a partial stop.

Panthers goaltender Spencer Knight is 4-1 with 133 saves on 142 shots (.937 save percentage) with a 1.61 goals-against since Dec. 22.
