Trailing 4-0 in the fourth inning, Mississippi State’s offense came alive. The No. 21 Diamond Dawgs were not content with simply taking the series against No. 18 Auburn – the Bulldogs wanted a sweep.

Cade Belyeu hit a go-ahead grand slam with two strikes and two outs in the eighth inning to lead No. 23 Auburn to a 7-6 win, securing the series against No. 13 Vanderbilt Sunday afternoon at Plainsman Park.
