Two drivers were killed when a tractor-trailer driven by a New York man crashed into their two vehicles on Interstate 95 in Ogunquit on Thursday morning, state police said.

Sheriff's deputies said Eric Wise, of Pennsylvania, was northbound on Route 8 at about 1:30 a.m. when he lost control of his 2021 Mack tractor trailer due to the slippery road conditions and unsafe speeds given the weather conditions.

Two people were killed after a crash on I-95 in Ogunquit Thursday morning. It happened just after 6 a.m. State Police say a tractor trailer was heading north when the driver lost control and crashed through the median guardrail into two vehicles driving south.
