Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak spoke to members of the media, including Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat, saying that trade candidate Nolan Arenado is likely staying put.

Maybe, just maybe, the St. Louis Cardinals didn't exactly win the Nolan Arenado trade with the Colorado Rockies. Perhaps, knowing what we know now, the deal was a loss for both teams.
