Arik Armstead has yet to play a down during Jacksonville’s training camp. His lingering absence has the Jaguars concerned about his availability for the season opener.

Coach Liam Coen originally explained Armstead's absence to "a little bit of a veteran start." Two weeks later, Armstead still hasn't taken a practice rep. Coen said this week that Armstead is out indefinitely with a back injury, which Coen admits makes Armstead's availability for Week 1 uncertain.

When asked if Arik Armstead would be available for the Jaguars' Sept. 7 opener against the Panthers, first-year coach Liam Coen said, "I would think so. It's hard for me to say right now, though."
