MANILA: The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has successfully kept a Chinese vessel illegally operating off Zambales from nearing the province’s coastline, as it spotted the “monster ship” a few nautical miles away.

Cabra successfully held off a bigger Chinese ship from getting closer to the Philippine coastline in Zambales on Sunday.

The Chinese Coast Guard (CCG) over the weekend deployed an additional vessel seemingly serving as “support” to another vessel that has been lurking in the waters near Zambales province, according to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
