Power restored to all properties in Scotland after Storm Eowyn - One rail route north of the border remains closed following damage caused by the severe conditions last Friday.

The storm brought 100 mile-per-hour winds to the island and also battered Scotland and northern England. Britain’s weather office issued a red warning, its highest level of alert.

Ferries, flights and rail services have been shut down across Scotland as a large part of the country braces for the arrival of a violent storm.
