A 3.6-magnitude earthquake shook the Southern California area — the third tremor to hit the area Monday, Feb. 10, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The about 5-mile deep quake hit about 3 miles northeast from San Bernardino just before 10 p.m., according to the USGS.

The latest quake was the third to hit the area which sits near a number of fault lines running through California including the Arrowhead, Waterman Canyon, San Jacinto, Santa Ana, Cleghorn, and Tunnel

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – A pair of earthquakes struck just minutes apart near San Bernardino, California, on Monday morning. The first earthquake, a magnitude 3.5, hit just before 9:45 a.m. local time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It had a depth of 4.6 miles.
