Iga Swiatek may not love the grass, but she relishes a battle whatever the surface and showed all that fight and bullish determination as she recovered to beat American Caty McNally 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 and reach the Wimbledon third round on Thursday.

Iga Swiatek struggled a bit early on in her first Wimbledon match but ultimately managed to get the job done in two sets against world No. 64 Polina Kudermetova 7-5 6-1.
