The New York Jets are about to kick their head-coaching search into high gear next week and a current coach is on the list of interviews.

The New York Jets have begun their search for a new head coach, with Mike Vrabel and Ron Rivera among big names to speak with team brass in recent days. Two other prominent coaches could be next, with Arthur Smith and Kliff Kingsbury also on the Jets' radar,

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith has interest from the New York Jets for their open head coach position, according to NFL insider Josina Anderson. Smith is expected to be a hot candidate this off-season on the head coach market after his work with Russell Wilson.

New York has seen a bit of everything in the first half, but are in a good spot to play spoiler against a division rival.

"So I just need a break mentally to just kind of refresh, put my feet in the sand and see where I'm at after that," Rodgers said.

One can be certain this is not the way the play was drawn up. The New York Jets decided to pull out all the stops since there was no reason to hide anything in the playbook on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
