Astronaut Butch Wilmore, who rode to the space station in June 2024 with Suni Williams aboard the Boeing Starliner, is retiring from NASA.

Wilmore worked with NASA for 25 years and spent a total of 464 days in space, nearly two-thirds of which came on his final voyage.

One of NASA's two previously stuck astronauts has retired. NASA announced Butch Wilmore's departure from the space agency on Wednesday.
