Former star outfielder Adam Jones is rejoining the Baltimore Orioles as a special adviser to general manager Adam Elias on top of being a community ambassador.  In an announcement Monday, the team revealed Jones will assist Elias in various areas as well as helping out the baseball operations department within the organization.

Adam Jones said he is "ecstatic" to be back with the Orioles as a special advisor to GM Mike Elias and a community ambassador.

When Orioles players report to spring training, they'll have a new resource, sounding board and familiar face to help them through the season.
