Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele will form the marquee group at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow after being paired together for the first two rounds

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Masters champion Rory McIlroy and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be playing together in the opening two rounds of the PGA Championship, joined by defending champion Xander Schauffele in another group of the top three players in the world.

PGA Championship, Brooks Koepka has won the tournament three of the last seven years. He is the only golfer with multiple victories in the major during that span, and Koepka and Justin Thomas are the only golfers with multiple PGA Championship titles over the last 12 years.
