A tentative agreement has been reached between Albertsons Companies and workers at Albertsons, Safeway and Vons stores in Northern and Central California.

More than 25,000 grocery workers in California won't be going on strike on Saturday after union leaders announced a temporary extension of a strike deadline.

At issue were wage increases, health care, pension funding and job protections for 25K NorCal grocery employees
