Apr 27, 2018 · My first hydrofoil has a 100mm wide band of 600gsm unidirectional glass lumping inside the other layers and faired after. Average thickness without the uni is approx 1.6mm and I trimmed the trailing edge a bit short and close to my 3D printed model, I should have cut it longer and tapered it better. However I still love the result!

Nov 28, 2016 · Print some hydrofoil profiles and then lay them on similar air or prop foil profiles and then muse over how similar they are, quickly before you fall asleep or have to make some money. I'm gonna get me a water tunnel even though today was a powder day. R&D is so much more fun in the summer with bare feet.

Oct 19, 2011 · Will a Hydrofoil settle down my 882 Nitro? Chopping water or at medium speed (20-30) I get the porpoising or I plow water. I love the boat (wouldn't own anything else) but it only has 2 speeds slow or FAST. I only know of one other boat with a HydroFoil, a Dynatrack with a 175 Evinrude, and it settled it down but I think it slowed it down also.
